Bayern Munich will face one of their toughest opponents in the German Bundesliga on Saturday in what is expected to be an entertaining clash at the Allianz Arena.
I would not want to forget the fact that Dortmund has been their worthy opponents in recent times in their quest for the title.But recently other German sides have stepped up their game, and it appears that the league is quickly taking shape.
Bayern Munich ended their 20 matches unbeaten streak across all competitions after losing to Hoffenheim on Tuesday. However, they are still miles ahead in the league. The defeat was just a small stain in their stellar run of form in recent months.
The Bavarians made their way to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after thrashing the Gunners 10-2 on aggregate, they also made it easily through to the DFB Pokal semi-finals and their most recent win 6-0 in the Bundesliga against Augsburg, though they lost during the week to Hoffenheim.
Borrusia Dortmund has had a disappointing first half of the season though they have managed to fight their way back to the top four.
Their weekend result was equally a disappointment to their fans after drawing 1-1 with Schalke 04, considering the fact that they have the most loyal fans in Europe.On Tuesday they won 3-0 at home to Hamburger, this is supposed to be a boost to their confidence ahead of their tough clash with Bayern Munich. Dortmund has won seven of their past nine matches drawing one and losing one.

They have also scored more than two goals at home in their wins.
Dortmund has been in top form in the recent weeks though many of the wins registered have been at home.They have been very inconsistent on the road, winning just two of their last nine away matches s.
I expect this to be a tough game even though Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller will miss this clash.
With Aubemayang and Lewandowski in place then we expect goals in this game as they both have been in top scoring form in recent times.
